 | Mick's Bar on Sunday
....was totaly off the hook!!!! Thanks for convincin me to go steve(globaldanca) and shay(vertigoal)!!! Merrit and Gary-O were insainly sick!!!!! I figured I would go...chill...have a few beers and recover from saturday...but i was all over that small azz bar! Gary totally rocked my world with his kind of nakedmusic-esk house and then movin over to brakes! hahaha...great times! Then not only did i have a blast there...but when we left we were going to go to taco cabana...but we saw a place open @ 3 am on henderson! It was like the IHOP of little mexico...it rules ballz!!! They even give you your guac in parts so you can mix it the way you want it!!! oh...and Happy b-day again steve-o!!!

After chillin' @ ORCHID earlier, I decided to drop by Mick's & listen to the sounds of Merritt & Gary-O... & THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!! The place was nutz!! If ppl weren't shmoozin' they were groovin'!!! Dancin' all over the place!!! GREAT TIMES GREAT TIMES INDEED!!! Great to see the loveliness of Shana & Shay, the b-day boy Steve-o (globaldanca), Darren 'mutha fuckin' D, Sean Sladek, Miss Lisa from Lisa's Lounge, J-WHO, Merritt, Gary-O & Phooka... & anyone i missed out on, sorry!! havin' fun, timmers

Thanks for coming out and dancing your asses off. I had such a good time spinning Sunday night that I really didn't want to fly back to San Diego the next morning. Wish we could have kept the party going all night! What really made the night special was the extrememly warm reception I got when I train wrecked near the end of my set. The needle jumped a groove when I mixed in Maggie's Last Party, and instead of giving me a hard time the whole place threw up their hands and cheered. Truly amazing - thank you. Can't wait to come back to Dallas again soon. Peace! Gary-O |
