dan looked tired and it showed in his performance. damn near played the identical set in miami a few weeks back. i'll always support the big boys because they'll reward you with a magnificent performance... most times. not this time. 'course merritt was killing him with shots throughout the night. hehe let's see what dave aude can do next saturday... |

As house is not my "thang"... I really can't tell the difference between and outstanding performance and a mediocre performance... I do know that he played a few old tracks... But I went out with the mind-set that I was going to have fun... and that I was going to dance... no matter what... and that's what I did. So, I had a good time.. and by 3:00... I was tired... and ready for bed... so we left. I danced... had a couple of drinks... fun times!

I was telling Bunny last night that I busted out the JNCO tankers that I bought in LA to see DAN for the first time in 93. It was good to see DAN in Dallas. I think come to think of it that that is the only time I ever seen him ever spin in Dallas. Anyway, yeah, he busted out some old school and was getting busy with tem tables towards the end of his set. At least busting out the records that distinguishes his sound from all other DJS in CALLI. good times good times...my body hurts...hahaha...sal good...i'll get over it. It twas a good show...but i would not say the top of his game. Lovely seeing all you beautiful people out and about...and nice to finaly met you in person warlord! *bow* Alicia was there!?!...where were you girl?...i didn't see ya!

miss shay was bored... perhaps i really am a child of progressive..but a good house set always gets me on my feet.....not a repetitive one short of fun and lacking in intelligence.....i guess noel spoiled me earlier in the day at orchid....or maybe dan was playing for the crowd....in any case ran into some dravers and had fun crowd watching |

yes...Miss Mookie and Miss Hummer were both very bored as well! blahhhh....... got to see a few peeps though which was aight I guess. Not like I don't see you fuckers every week anyway!!  me=not very impressed

dan played well, but not up to his usual magnificence. i left at about 2:40 and i didnt see him do any of his usual crazy shit with the decks. nice tracks, but he just didnt blow me away like he did the last two times. nice to see hime none the less. i had fun though, very nice to see my boy michael patrick out and about. long live funky house!!!!!!!

I caught him on the radio last night and he didnt impress me....he never has...i am entitled to my opinion. Tunes were oldish sounding and the mixing was ok...sometimes a bit forced in the mix...but hey every dj has a bad day maybe last night was his!!! |

I have wanted to see Dan since 2000.. I missed his show in little rock when I was visiting some friends.. So I was excited to hear that he was playing in Dallas.. The night as a whole was good... I'm not much of a house guy myself.. But it still was a blast until the end of the night... when some dumbass in the bathroom vomitted all over my shirt...  Lucky I was on my way out.. But it is safe to say that I will never forget that night...... And I will miss that shirt(it's somewhere downtown right now )Peace_ Matthew FatCat
