Well getting a late start as ususal come Friday night and me without my bathing suite the trip to DNA for the EB foam party got skipped and since it was past 11pm Club 7 was bypassed as well.........but enough of my troubles lets proceed downtown

Art Bar w/John Vella

Well John 'The human can of red bull' Vella was upto to his usual retro 80s goodness that night laying down the hits for a nice crowd as always. The music took on more of EBM, synth-pop mode featuring toons from Shriekback to MCL and then making its was to the New order, Kon Kan and Prince.
All in all if you've never checked out Art Bar Friday or Saturday nights. I would. The new interior is much nicer & much hipper than prior sporting a fun atmospere with a up beat crowd. Not to mention John who knows how to work it in front of and behind the decks!!

The Pharmacy

By far one of Dallas best looking night spots I must admit, this 2 story bar may be with out much of a dance floor persae but what little it did have was full up! Along with Crave Thursdays this would make the top 5 house weeklies list for sure. Dj Spretto and the rest of the Friday night house boys were pumping and the dj area was getting down old skool style bay-bee.
Its clean its fun with a shiek pimp decor that just makes ya wanna take it up a notch.

Crave

Well my last stop before circling the wagons was for alittle funkiness @ Crave, is it me or does some 2-step sometimes give ya that old skool electro booty music feel?? well regardless is was hot it was getting dirty and people were most deff workin it......fun time all around only the inflatable punching doll was a little odd and the blonde girl with the smooth hip action in the middle of the dance floor sure made me smoke an extra cigerette or two!!

Overall for a Friday night downtown it was grooving. There wasn't much traffic, not one time did I get asked for *a donation* , no cover charges and no phone #s unfortunatly. Good times good tunes now thats a good Friday.
