i thought it was a bad ass party. kinda wish a few more people would of come out but other than that i had a great time. i got to spin for 2 1/2 hours up in the v.i.p., i think that's the longest set i've done at a party. all the d.j.'s in the main room threw down nicely. i liked everybodys sets although i will say that sty-mi' and st.blaize(sp?) really caught my attention, great job guys. did anybody else see the pole dancing/ strip tease going on down stairs that was fucking hillarious. well i guess it's only funny to me cause i know the girl who was doing it. i'm sure everyone else enjoyed. anywho it was good times still recovering  -austin

I had fun at this one. Got to the party about 1ish. First thing I noticed was how LOUD that system was. It was piercing on the box by the pole. Heard all of Ronin and she was very good. She dropped a really good Wally Lopez song I like. Sty-mi hit the system and really laid down a mezmorizing set. I have never heard you spin but it was a pleasure meeting you and hearing your sound. I came to see Aqualight. All I have to say is PHENOMINAL! He always seems to take it to another level with his sound. I haven't danced like that in a while. Thanks Craig for being a friend and mentor. Nice seeing you Mikey, "I understand the 23 know. It kind of hit me today when I was reading at B&N. I'll tell you my interpretation when I see you next." BUT... the PM box for the invites was full... Then, I found phones numbers for a couple of the DJ's spinning... and by then it was like 11:00... and since only one of us is working... $20 for two people seemed a bit steap for locals (not that we don't love ya... but we charge $10 for a headling DJ)... and it was mostly house music... So, we decided to stay our butts at home. I am sure it was a great time though!!! It seems like the party had a great house line-up!

I had a great time too! Everyone played great sets. Thanks to all who stuck around to hear me and Tamara close the morning out. Hey Sty-Mi', our sets work real well together. We need to spin together real soon HINT HINT!

Karlos has recovered and would like to thank everyone who came out! He had a FABULOUS time seeing everyone in thier p.j.s! Hope you all enjoyed his p.j.s! Karlos is wondering when Mikey is going to post those lovely pics! wish i could've stayed for Aqualight's full set but Karlos began to feel not so well, you all who were there know why and thats all that matters! But yes,a good time was had by all |

Fun night @ a very cool venue. Wish I could've stuck around for Aquafresh's set.  h well.  Great gettting to catch J Who play (nice set btw). Good seeing everyone out, especially the girls parading around in their drawers. Nice to finally meat Sty-mi and Angel. BTW, if whoever coordinates these things is interested in maybe having some S&M at their next shindig PM myself or Stanfield and we can work something out. |

thanks to eric, et al for having me out to play friday night! what a kickass venue...and what kick ass djs i was able to play w/! too bad more people didn't show up. but those who did seemed to have a great time. i played early and got to hear: nodafunk? - damn you rocked it. good to meet you and hope to see you out again soon j-who - as always...slammin. ronin - you straight f*cked shit up, grrrl. several people asked me who you were cuz they agreed that you threw it dizzown. whoa sty-mi' -- beautiful track selection. you always mix solid. aqualight -- man, you are just the shit. i haven't heard you play a set like that ever. i had no idea when any record was coming in...ever. you, sir, are the masta mixa. and i've never used any crazy smiley like this, but i'm whipping this out...  tamara-- only heard your first 2 tracks b/c it was getting late...wish i could've heard more b/c you got me dancing w/ only the first record you threw on. bumpin shit...glad i heard ya last night at Orchid...throwing breakz no less!! you go, grrl... thanks to all who came out (except that girl that...well you all know what she did...and it was so wrong)  Waiting till the next one! it was really really fun getting to play and hang out with a bunch of my closest friends in the dj'ing community. all i can say was, it was freakin' friday the 13th. thanks for all the good times, and thanks for all the compliments (even though i didn't exactly play up to my own standards). damn ya'll, was that monitor TOUGH or what? thanks to jimmy and christina, dana, noah and mary, derek, austin nadia and friend, courtney, leslie, alena and erin, miles, JAIME (i remembered!!!!), robert and friends, tamara, aqualight and mikey, shelly, karlos, and anyone else who made it out that night that i may have missed. peace, Jamie |
