i was suppose to go and my persons didnt make an apearance...
it kinnda made me upset...
but im ok i guess..as long as you fill me in on what i missed

The party was alright. The Drum and Bass room was phat as hell like always. Danny tha wild child was drop some dope azz shit for 3 hours. Dont know adout the house set wasent in there that much. I caught a little bit of Ireans set and did not like it at all. Swoomp was tight caught his set for a few mins the rest of the time I was in the D & B rooms with the phat shit. Got there late didnt get to see Kid Icarus that pissed me off a little.

I walked in just as Jeremy was spinning to hear his name over the loud speaker and see his face on the two screens above his left and right shoulders...Then I had to case the joint...Had to take a tour...Caught the beginning of Sarahtonin's set...She's hot may I add...Then I walked for a minute more then noticed the shear amount of people standing on my dance floor...I guess they thought since most people don't dance no mo' all they do is nothing that they didn't need it...Standing room early and all the seats you need to keep the e-puddless off the floor put them all in the grandstand I guess. Came back to see my boys on 6...Phooka, Bk, and Squirt what an odd combination really...Though what works worked well. I saw Irene....I guess I'm going to have to put my two cents in for this one...Sure she moved the crowd put on a show, though I don't think the music was any good...at all ---Though Irene got one of the biggest amount of lunacy and chants throughout her set...They just don't know what good house is...

Then I returned to what felt like hours later to the dnbass room...The Three Amigos were still working it. Then we had three more amigos Danny "The Wildchild", Faust and Shortee for three hours. So basically most of my time was spent in the place that was cooler no matter what genre was playing. Ok I'm becoming a junglist daily...It's like one of my daily affimations but that was just too much Drum and Bass. I walked back to overcrowded main room to hear trance...or whatever subgenre of trance this was...I returned and patiently waited for my gar-ridge...

Then Phil The Logic Theorist and some other guy played some deep garage. I think everyone in the room thought it was just a bad form of Drum and Bass. They needed to be educated on something different though I guess the track selection wasn't ideal....Hey I liked it, you liked it, but the party was almost over anyways, Right Phil

The best part of the night happened when I left. I saw a group of friends and Ryan Masterson promoting...Ryan drove me home since I never found my ride and took to other strangers home as well...We bitched and complained about the party for a minute and then Ryan put in a cd of Diz from the RedBloodClub...Let's just say I'm making copies on Tuesday...I wanted the new guys to hear some REAL House music...Full of that soul from the middle of your chest to the equator of your ass...They were totally impressed...It was a little bit different then the crap they heard entitled house at KK...Though if no one shows them they will never know...They gave Ryan a rather nice monetary donation of undisclosed terms for his troubles and I told him I would post something about the Vibrating Couch...

Overall I give them an A for effort...They put this on for us...I'm just glad that everything worked out all right

Was my absolute best performance of the night though...Skills makes me want to be a DMC champ one day...Must practice...Must sleep....I don't see how I stayed sober...No alcohol and no pot all night... I got a little crabby but the ride home was great...

I didn't get in til around 12:30 so I missed the meetup I think, barely saw anyone I knew! overall I didn't have fun we left at 3:30....barely anyone was dancing....none of the music really grabbed me ya know...but oh well....Meltdown was supposed to be my last party, but I had so much fun that night. That party was the shit There were sooo many people there and all the DJs were just going off. Irene was fucking going crazy and so was DJ Swamp. They were just phat as hell. Can't wait to go to another party.

Just got back home from a 4 day trip. Kandy Kanes was a bad ass party ... i loved it ... i felt the vibe right away. It was so cool seein all of you out there ....

alright, im just another party kid like any other, looking for the best beats, the best vibes. last nite really overwhelmed me, and ill tell you all why.
ive been in the scene for almost 2 years right, but i have never been to a party outside of austin. really just becase of the money i dont have, and just the patience i have to try to wait till that certain dj jus comes to my town right. well, i didnt even think i was going to this party, couldnt even remember the full name. all ive heard about dallas ppl, dallas parties is that they are really no good, maybe only a seleceted few of the ppl in austin who have been to dallas have actually come back with nothing but compliments for the town. i mean i knew ppl in austin were arrogant but really, i didnt think that would be in the way of their opinion of the djs, the party kids, the anything up there. the only thing i think was one common agreement amongst everyone was how fucking kick ass the dnb scene is up there. that peaked my interest.
that party last nite though, jus made me remeber the feeling i used to get when i first started partying. like i felt a vibe up in that bronco bowl that i havent felt in over 6 months in austin. the scene here has really been pissing me off cuz the only important thing to these ppl is whats the trendiest, or who can fucking make up the best dance move, which really they didnt even make up, or how many djs they can name that aren't global. teeny boppers, young kiddies sneaking out, is the majority of every party here in austin.
that jungle room, it had mad amounts of chatoic energy coming from almost every person i would go by on the dance floor, every one almost a feen for the music like me. the dance floor in the main floor, well, i understand now why people would tell me that dallas kids cant dance. its not that yall dont know how to dance, but the only thing you could do on that floor was bounce. it was fucking packed, not with just etarded out ppl, at least the time i was there, but every time i fucking started pounding on that floor, ppl would make room, or fucking try to battle me. i loved it. in austin you gotta elbow those mo'fo's to get them to realize they jus might be in the way. back in the jungle room, never saw so many talented ppl busting out a move all at once. it was so hype seeing the whole mass of over 5,000 ppl in the main floor bouncing at the same time to dj irene. i mean, im not a lover to the house music, but it was incredible at how irene just got every single person on the ailses, in the seats, on the dance floor pumped. dj swamp was the best surprise to me, man, i remeber now why kids used to think fire was so bad ass.
friendly ass security too, most of the time i try to avoid them as much as possible, but i had the coolest conversations with about 3 of those guys. every person i met was friendly right from the first eye contact you had with em.
really, all i wanted to say was thanx cuz i was really worried for a while about this scene. i know now that there will always be that one vibe thats always been there from the beginning, you just have to look for it. not to sound all sappy to you kids, but hey, i just had to compliment your city.

IF you missed it you really didn't miss like the greatest party but it was a lot of fun though. THat was the first time I heard DJ Swamp and might I say thats the like the only time I felt like really dancing. DOn't feel bad that you missed the party just make sure you go to Feel that party is gonna be off the chain.

Well Kandy kanes was my first rave, I loved it. we got in late so we missed Kid Icarus...i was pissed. We were looking for ppl we knew and then we got some rolls, and the one i took was a yellow shark...i was rolling hard core and dont remember much of what happened then. I do remember hearing Irene and DJ Swamp, and Joshua Ryan but that was all. I didn*t even know there was a second room. I had forgotten about it and was to out of it to know there was one I have nothing to compare it to but I thought it was Badass!

OMFG...this party was so phat!!! i had such a blast i can't even explain!! the dab room was so tight....i danced my ass off all night....was there till they kicked everyone out at 6.......i had so much fun i don't even know how to explain it!! I had ten times more fun at kandy kanes than meltdown (but i was only at md3 for about 2hrs, so that sucked) but yeah, if you missed this party you missed a hell of a time!!
