Went last night to the Grand Opening. They had free drinks awesome food, and hot women. The place is really nice and it looks like they spent some serious money on the decor. It reminds me of Sense. Anyway the sound system will be good when they get everything finished and get some good DJs but overall it was good times.

umm... didn't you think the bar was a little tooooo big for that place? the bar took up more space that the rest of the club. imagine putting the bar from seven inside orchid. not a great layout.

Yeah I would say maybe alittle big but I dont think it ruins anything. I had plenty of room to roam around and the place was pretty crowded.

the place is cool! didn't seem like it was finnished yet, but a very NICE place. the bar does take up some space... i guess it coulda been smaller. demarcus looked like he was going to have back trouble leaning over those short decks. poor guy. music of course was choice.

I don't know if you just don't like house or you just can't tell a good dj from a foot in your ass.

I think DeMarkus and Brett Johnson can be in the least considered "good".

Any BAR that is in the middle of a bar-hopping strip (lower greenville) that does not allow ins and outs will not last very long in this town. They charge a cover to get in their average bar (this is not a club, it is a bar with no dance floor), which is rediculous since they are the ONLY bar on Greenville that charges cover. On top of that they say you have to pay cover again if you leave and come back? Give me a break. This bar is lame, boring, has shitty sound, rude staff, no dance floor, way over-priced drinks, and doesn't allow ins and outs ....don't waste your time going to this place. What a joke.

WOW... Harsh Words... First I would like to apologize for the "cover charge" for the ins and outs... that will not happen again.... As for an average bar.... Sorry... we are not an average bar.... Eight is by far... one of the best looking lounge in Dallas... Inside: All custom made Cantoni furniture.... ($11,000 Cantoni Couch in the VIP area; 6 individual Cantoni Booths seperated by "Fendi" Satin Sheer Curtains)... Wooden floors, Six 42" Plasma screen TVs , The Bar is made out of Glass and stainless steel..... We are only 80% finished.... come back this week when everything is done... "the waterfall" behind the see through glass in the front entrance....the Custom made DJ booth, the six 8 feet layer glasses separating the men and women's restrooms... and of course the EQ will be working... Trust me the sound system does not suck... we did not spend 1/2 a million on the decor of Eight Lounge with a $2 Dollar sound system from Guitar Center....

As far as the Staff is concerned.... I personally have worked at all the major nightclubs in Dallas...and I strongly believe our staff of bartenders and waitresses offers the best services in Dallas.... Keep in mind every Saturday we Cater to our guest with complimentary hors d’oeuvres served by our waitresses... we pay them double the amount they get at the other bars just to get better service...

So for covercharge we do charge $5 on Fridays and $8 Dollars on Saturdays... Also keep in mind Tantra charges $8 and $10 on the weekends....Trantra is on Greenville and they are too a bar....(Packed with over 400+ every week!)

Yes... our drink prices are not cheap.... we are catering to a higher end clientel.... we have an exquisite drink menu that you would not normally see on lower greenville..... We offer bottle services to our guest who normally reserve VIP booths...

Music... If you guys complain about the music and Djs at Eight...then i give up.... I have always given Djs on this board opportunies at the major clubs and bars in Dallas.... I have booked the carbon community, Love, Disco Agents, RX and Juice, Redeye, Rob Vaughan, Merritt, ect..... I have taken these DJs to some of the largest venues in Dallas like: Blue, Liquid, Area 51, ect.... Now I have Brett and Demarkus spinning w/guest Djs every friday and Saturday.... Great DJs so hopefull music is not a problem.....

And since integrated(www.integratedasone.com) is in charge of all the entertainment for eight... then you can be sure there is going to be some great private exclusive events.... integrated client list includes: Sony Music, Def Jam Records, Geffen Records, Budweiser, Kenneth Cole, Hugo Boss, Bernini, MAC, Charles David, Bebe, Cache, wildondallas.com, and more....

EIGHT WILL BE VERY SUCCESSFUL!!! OUR PROMOTION TEAM WILL GIVE EVERYTHING WE HAVE TO MAKE THIS PLACE ONE OF THE TOP SPOTS IN DALLAS....
