soon I will be? nah, I'm already there...been listening to electronic music for a decade now, so I think I'm well-beyond jaded. I was pulled in by the breakbeat and hardcore sounds from the pre-jungle era....but didn't follow through...I preferred the housier, breakier & trancier sides of things as time went on.The 125-135 bpm range doesn't do my head in, and I don't feel skull-raped after a set played in that range. Anyhow, I've been to different places worldwide, and have seen prog/tech house/breaks nights go off....nights in which the music was well-received by all. |

i started off in DnB, and i stayed there. i have branched off into 2 step, but jungle is my first love. i will be a junglist forever, and as far as jadedocity, it just kind of happened last year. it isn't something i looked for, it just kind of found me.

wether your a junglist or house head..........I have to say this.......... shut the fuck up and dance........ ..get over being jaded, get over the underground, which btw is literally underground (6 feet under) get over all the stupid little hangups such as "journeys" which only in the end keep you from enjoying the purity of music........ despite all the genres and labeling we are all one in the same RAVERS......or errr something peace |

I hear what your sayin' Blame. If you like other genres more then others then that fine, the more power to you, but we all go to parties to dance and have fun. Considering people on the outside hate everyone at the party anyway, why start hate from the inside of the party? One thing I do hate and will always hate is FUCKING E-TARDS. I think most can agree on that eh?

play with the vibe create it, use it, feel it, go to where it's at. Last night there was hardly a vibe at all to be felt... I kept having to move all over the dancefloor to catch it... I don't think there was a millisecond in which everyone in the room was dancing. Maybe there were a few seconds where a large majority of the dancefloor was moving, but it ended rapidly and dispersed into multiple tiny balls of energy between 3 or 4 dancers, if not completely disappearing. I REALLY wanted to feel Sasha's set deep down inside, but the deeper I would get entranced, the more I noticed how many people were walking around in front of me, standing still, bumping into me, etc... It's a dirty job to be one of the few in a room full of idiots trying to catch a vibe and make it contagious, but somebody's got to do it. I tried my best I s'pose, and still enjoyed the music. I'll be back at the clubs for awhile where everyone is on their feet and actually WORKS to create beautiful moments. |

since i was one of the ones pms'n about not being taken on a journey.. i'd like to say.. that i stated my opinion and had a very good time with certain parts of the night.. but if something did dissapoint me a little i'm gonna say it.. being that if i do make a review it will hit high and low points.. if there are any. i sort of love how people will start a thread like this when some people say one dissapointing thing about their night.. i HARDLY piss and moan about any parties.. but when i do i can always count on someone to tell me to 'not get hung up on my little journey' especially when i paid 40 bones to see someone i've been waiting on for a long time.. FUCK.. it might just ruin the purity of music if i expect a certain performance once in a while.. by the way.. i danced my ass off. on another note.. skitz.. nope 4 can be short sometimes.. a few months back sharam from deep dish took everyone on a 5 1/2 hour journey.. sometimes it just depends on the dj's mood. |
