i definitely had fun playing last night. i knew that main room sound was good, but i still was not prepared. jesus it rocks!!!! i definitely enjoyed all the sets i heard, being as i bounced around from area to area trying to take it all in. i think the thing i liked most about last night is that although everyone on the lineup is a great person, i got to play this party along with some people i consider my closest friends. and the talent of the lineups brought sooo many more people out that we all know and love. last nights party lived up to it's name. everyone had truely "Come Together"... and thanks to jimmy of course. i appreciate it bro! Jamie

It was nice hearing some of Mr. Slaughter last night. ![]() The only complaint I have was the upstairs. Sorry LL, have to do it. Sound was shity, monitor was jacked (highs were killing my ear) Needles were skipping, the right table would drift, the mixer was horrible (Missing EQ Knobs, fader was busted etc...) I had to give the boogie knights props (Nice cats by the way, nice upcoming DJ's if you like the funky house) for playing as well as they did on that systeam. Hell, better than I could or did. ![]() Other than that, it was fun, got drunk.

I had a great time. All of the DJs were true to form and everyone seemed to enjoy the change ups. Mad props to Carbon Community(all of those buttons and keys confuse the shit of me) for the excellent performance. Glad to see many of my friends enjoying themselves. Mad respect to Juice. Even with pressure from me and Funk W(the fried sandwich kings), he still orders a very healthy salad for the late night munchies! Hope to see you guys out for D:Fuse tonite! Cheers, Johnny F

Ahhhhhh, yes. Good times. Heard some geat music. Met many nice people. Danced danced danced!!!!! My feet and legs are rather sore today, hehe. Specifically, I had a great time grooving to John "making me shake my ass on the dancefloor" Walker, J-mutherfucking-Who, Titan and Pibb "the dope-ass duo", and briefly E.P and Sean Sladek. I also was dancing up on the Roof Deck for a while to Scholwinski and Culture, Spyk-D and Nodafunk, and John Vella for a short period. But let me just say that the sound up there sucked!!!! The Lizard Lounge needs to figure that shit out because I had to stand directly in front of the dj booth and listen through the monitor (which wasn't so great) to hear anything at all. I'm surprised that anyone of these guys could even match one beat with the way that shit was jacked. BLEH! But anyway, it was still plenty of fun. Thanks to all involved for a lovely evening! |
