ok i got there kind of late (like 11:45) and everything was running well. people were having fun, energy was happening, met some folks, said hi to folks. then they had the count down; it was really cool they had white balloons fall from the ceiling like it was snow and there were some fire cracker sounding explostions and then like 10 minutes or less after the countdown ALL of the electricity went out. (thank god for all the peeps w/ glow accecories) so i was thinking maybe it was a gimmick or something to get the crowd hyped, make us beg for the music i suppose. but then after like 5 minutes i was thinking "okkkk turn it back on now" after about an hour or so of NO music or lights the power came back on for maybe another hour or so and everyone was so happy to be able to party again but then the power went out AGAIN. i guess the staff wasnt willing to wait again for the power to come back on so around 2:15 everyone was kicked out. i wasnt ready to go home so we finished partiing @ the gallery or the gallery X O im not real sure what it's called but it is a bad azz little renegade art gallery type thing and had a blast there but i wast really dancing much, mostly socializing w/ people. but anywho despite all the crap that happened i still had a real fun night. and i dont know what hte deal is but im about to STOP getting hyped about events. i mean first iwas like "cyberfest is going to be hte party of all parties" & i think we all know that that was just NOT TRUE. then club one which i know is not their fault about the electricity but i was still dissapointed (& it was $30 to get it) however since club ONE is THE single coolest club in dallas they were handing out tickets to get in free next time which i didnt get one but well i WILL be getting in free next sat since i talked to to the door lady @ hte gallery. anywho ya the gallery is a cool place but some of the people there really make me sad i mean i saw one guy in there and i swear to god i serioiusly think he was homeless or just a total and complete addict i dont know but i had to get away from him cause he was really making me sad but lots of club one people came there and not to many party kids but this would be a cool little place for party kids to hang out and dance to some jungle or something.

Hey I know you got there kinda late but what kinda party favors were they passing out? I mean chargin $30 for us youngin', I would've gone but I wanna celebrate New Years @ One when I'm 21 and can get sum of that champenge, so next year I'm gunna be all over that place lol...anywho, sorrie the electricity got cut on you guys but at least you had a awesome place to do the afterparty at and that's all that matter that the party goes on....and your qoute on "Cyberfest being the PARTY of all parties", yah that was my way of thinking going into it too, Houston is forever crossed off my list, unless Radiohead or Marilyn Manson play down there again, then I'll go but for anything else, fuck that....Houston = Bad Karma

i believe that ONe was passing out One beanies out to the first 300 peeps to show up, im not sure though. i thought it was supposed to have something to do w/ NY but i dont know... ya i dont think im going to be going to anymore out of dallas parties anytime soon! actually my friend had radiohead tickets for houston last time they came but gave it up cause the concert was on the same day as his first day @ work and i was like, (we work togetther) thinking i could have worked for him that day but i dont htink i knew until after the fact. manson was cool @ bronco bowl about a year ago. i just wish i could have caught the mechanical animals or ACS tour. he needs to revamp his style i dont care for his current style too much. he has gotten kinda stale...

Yes I was at the Gallery myself. Like I said before very nice venue. Not fancy or anything. Just a big warehouse, pretty dark and wide open...just like the old days!!! ***sigh***

yeah i was at club one new years also. I was the girl dancing on the bar! haha.. everytime i go there they have me dancing on that damn bar. I really thought that the club was messing with us by making all the power go out but it turns out that almost all of deep ellum was out. WHAT A DAMN BUMMER! So after we left the second time it went out we all went and partied at a friends hosue! I can say that i got not sleep that night! HAHA but it was sure as hell fun. Club One is a fun club, i know lots of people there. You guys should also check out RED ROOM at club clearview. DJ JOBE is off the hook. CHECK OUT THURSDAY NIGHTS. Its 19 and up!

ya i go to club one a lot, usually once a week but back in the summer i was going on both fri & sat usually. actually going to the gallery was my first afterparty. i still live w/ my parents and if i get home when they have woken up already they get pssed! haha i was lucky i got home around 7 that night but they had work off so everyone was still sleeping! im the guy that is always carries around the "man purse" haha i know real distinct. i dont know how to describe myself though cause i kinda got a lot of styles that i sport. my bag is always w/ me though!!!

I HATE BEING SICK. but hey i am missing work...haha.. but money is always good too. DAMN! did you end up at one chris? Did ya see me?
