| Sweet 01/12
There's only one thing I can say about this friday's sweet... Dear sweet lord no. Okay...I love the phuturhythms guys.. and usually I love/ tolerate techno..house.....ect.... but GODDAMN!!!!! Revolv was horrible!!!! JESUS!!! What did I ever do to deserve punishment like that!!!??? His techno (?!?) was comprised of a long, painful, monotonous gush of ear splitting static accompanied by intervals of boeng 747 type high pitched screeches or cabana type singing... It sounded like someone put a microphone inside of a washing machine. By the end of the 45 minutes I stayed at the venue, I found myself actually wishing that tinnitus would set in..just so I could be free from the migraine causing beats. Revolv is probably a great guy....but he really needs to work on track selection..and adding breaks..or a buildup..or..hell..something.... |

tinnitus sucks ass, i've had it permanently in my right ear ever since my accident when i was 15. you learn to ignore it, but dear lord!

That was a rather crude review of a dj. Release the good. You started a post as a review for SWEET. Are you part of the family. I don't think a phamily member would speak with such obnoxious tones. What you might not like is something that you may have not experienced before. I didn't hear Revolv's set though you realize that a true dj plays for himself. well, she surely can give her own review of the night. Just b/c it wasn't positive doesn't mean the can't tell everyone what she thought. I'm sure those who DID enjoy it will post as well...one bad review out of many good won't make much of a difference

What the hell, give the girl a break, she gave her opinion, so what????? Football players get to hear how shitty they did all the time, and that is shown nation wide. This is merely on a dallas board. If the truth isin't told, then whoever that dj is won't know that his set MAY have been not so good. Doesn't mean he sucks or isin't respected anymore. Just means he needed to take the 747 out of his set and place it in a building for the moment being. later *smirk* yea you guessed it, i am not a family member, I like to speak obnoxiously. MY family kicked me out a long time ago, looks bad on my resume but hey. |

That was kinda mean but hey its honesty. You can't please everyone no matter what you do. My question is how come no one really dances? I promise I'll stay off the dancefloor if more people come on. ITs cool yer getting DJS to play different music that 2 step set was pretty tight with Carl Cue. Compared to the other clubs that night I think Sweet was the place to go. Well next time anyone sees me at SWEET will be February 1st cuz thats a long drive for me. Keep it up Phamily!!!!!!

It always happens this way....speak ill of a dj....and you're satan. Worse, probably. Positive review or no review at all, it seems has always been the standard of the board. If you didn't like it, and you want to review....you better lie. Son of a bitch, reviews don't have to be positive.
