I'll give the quick description. I didn't get there untill around 11:30, but when I got there he was playing alot of progressive breaks. While all the tracks he was playin were dope, I can't really dance to breaks, don't know why, I just can never get into a groove with them. BUt he was throwin in some good prog tracks too. I was really tired cause of this cold I got, so it took alot for me to get into it. But by the last hour they had just been building the engergy, and then they just started busting out on bad ass prog tune after another. They ended the show on a high note, and the encore was great. All around good show, lots of energy. Those guys are real technitions.

I got there a bit late as well....I think around 11:15 or somewhere like that...... Lots of good fucken choons went down.....I'm still recovering from last night but some of the ones I caught where - Quasistereo "Addictions" and FSOL Paupa New Guinea Hybrid mix(monster of a tune) Yes! along with a slew of others that Im having trouble recalling right now...... Overall the crowd turnout was enormous. I was a bit surprised. Both rooms where open .......and even thou they were playin breaks everynow and then there was still alot of danceable tunes being dropped.....you could tell just by how the dance floor was rammed..... Either way I had a blast and it was good seeing Shawn out as well as everyone else....... okay time to go back to bed now and get ready for Spun... peace |

I got there a little after 10.. A little before Hybrid got up there.. I had never listened to Hybrid before last night so I didn't really know what to expect. Fernie and my buddy Kyle educated me on who Hybrid were and such and I really enjoyed the show. And just when I was really starting to like them what did they do? Mixed in some Radiohead. I now love Hybrid and had a blast last night. -Shawn |

yeah bolden and i saw this fat girl freaking with glowsticks on who i guess was her boyfriend. she really looked like she was having a good time. i'm glad for her! anyways, he spun some dark stuff for a little while there, i was pumped. i hung out in the men's bathroom, saw no dravers! i just talked to don (the bathroom attendant), now he is cool! he gave me paper towels to wipe my hands on after i washed them. overall, it was good times.

Hybrid was AWESOME! They spun one of the best sets ive heard in a long time. They were going all over the place, from progressive house, to trance, to nu-skool, and of course Progressive breaks. It would be serene and emotional one minute, and the next minute it would be some in your face funky ass breaks that you cant stop dancing to. Most people couldnt pull off a lot of genre hopping like that, but they showed us how it was done. Their mixing was very smooth. Some of the mixes were simple, but there were lots that were extremely involoved and creative. You never knew what they were gonna do next. You could feel the anticipation in the air all throughout the night. They would take everyone way out, and build the tension higher and higher, then they would just DROP it and throw everyone into a dancing frenzy! The dancefloor was PUMPING! Hybrid OWNED Dallas last night! AAAHHHH!, im still in shock and its 1:00 in the afternoon. I had a DAMN good time last night. Paul C. P.S. Can anyone I.D the track with the Radiohead sample they spun? Its not the same song Oakey remixed. Nice track!

"we have to go find the others" he said. he never looked straight at me. we walked in the grass, around the shack and down to the stream. for some reason, i had never walked down there before. we went into a concrete tunnel, dark but warm. part of a noise was leaking from the ceiling. now there was that musik again. he sat down and heard me do the same. I'm gonna have to agree with everything Plato said. Last night was PHENOMENAL! I didn't get to the Jacket until about midnight & by my surprise the place was packed. I wasn't familiar with Hybrid's talent, but new that their style was very eclectic. I was very impressed with their set...far better than I had imagined. Big ups to Hybrid & to Full Access for bringing them to us. Much thanks to you guys! Peace, Mandy |

last night was increadibly fun. Probably the most entertaining night ive had in a long time...we got there around 11:30ish, place was packed, lots of ppl everywhere, but i dont think it was quite as packed as richard humpty vission was...anyhoo I hadnt heard much from hybrid before last night, i had downloaded some stuff from the net and liked it, and my bestest buddy in the world talked me into goin, so i went. I think ive found a new love for Hybrid, seriously, i was dancin around all night...was great. I didnt see but 2 dravers spisak and dru, whats up..heh i apologize for my drunkness! I was trashed. But whats strange about it, I usually drink the same amount or more at the lizard lounge and am never drunk. I guess it goes w/out saying that the Red Jacket has much better drinks (Long Island Iced Teas for 2.50!!!) Good music, good company and good drinks, who could ask for a better night! now if only this pesky hangover would disappear

hybrid did exactly what most big name dj's 'should' do... the mixing was great.. AND they skipped around genres a lot like others said before.. it went from like some prog. house.. to trance.. to progressive breaks.. they just really mixed it up good to keep the crowd entertained and FAR from bored. i was there from the get go so i didnt have to sit in any line at all.. but even when there was only 2 hours left in their set i saw people lined up around the block to get in.. and then it got crowded as hell.. i figure about half the people who went heard about hybrid from friends or wanted to see hybrid.. and the other half was wild 100 listeners.. who just went.. either way everyone got their hybrid fix. |

Need to hang out sometime and get crunk. all in all a great night that was well worth the money spent getting two buddies o mine completely sloshed!! Whats up with the midget bus boys!?!?!?
