M5 Shout outs - Dallas Dance Music - Dallas nightlife, music, tickets, and more

Dayum! What a killer night...Ive got to thank everyone that came out last night and set the event off! Everyone who screamed, danced or just got pumped up listening to electronic music.

Extreme props to the following people...we could not have done the event at all, if these people would not have given it their 110%:

- all the djs that played at the show and the afterparies, Leo, Don and the rest of the staff from the Lizard Lounge, Merritt, John Bradley, John Hutchison, GX, Susan Guyerman, Vannessa Yanez, Joe MxMind, Jon Jon, Natalie Melodix, Meghan Kimmel, Sean Sparks, Derek Nelson, Travis Elliot, James Kelly, Uravemuch Julie, Natalie Yardborough, Michlle Crider, Collin, Zen2K, Christy Conley, Wes Stubblefield, Damon Williams, Kotecki, Mistie Lyons, Karen Simon, Bishop, Sean Playboy,Brooke H., Michah, the staff & management at Blue, Seven and Area 51 for hooking up the free afterparties, Chefs' BBQ (for what I heard was some half way decent BBQ). Im sure theres more, but my brain is still in waking up mode...

These peeps directly contributed and made M5 what it was....so thank them if you know them for making it happen...

Also, thanks to Pat Tetrick and Jeremy Dawson for filling in a couple slots at the event short notice when two of the djs werent able to make it. Yall kicked it! Also props to Dave Ralph for playing our extra renegade hour. That was a nice added bonus.

Once again, we see that dance music culture is alive and kicking....SO DON'T LET ANYONE ELSE TELL YOU OTHERWISE! This is as alive and thriving as long as we act as a community.

As I tell anyone who will listen... you are a positive light in this scene.

People don't always understand the stress... organization and work that goes into putting together an even of this magnitude.

Hell, I sure as hell don't. But I can certainly imagine.... as I get stressed out as hell with just ONE headliner!

But, even at an event the size of MD5... you are level-headed with a smile on your face.

Thanks so much for loving this scene and the music enough to go through all the hard work to make it happen!
