Holy muthafuckin' shiiii... hahaha, seriously that was off the hook! I was LOVIN me some delish' DEEEEEP SEXXXY HOUSE tonight, baby! Ooooooooooooohhhhhhhhyeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had a fabulous time out on the dance floor shakin my groove thing! YEAH YEAH!!!!  That place was packed!!! And in a good way!!!! BADASS VIBE, killer crowd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  The only sad part was the realization that this was the last nite for a club that means so much to so many...  oneluv... jaime

Holy........  I had a FABULOUS time tonight!! The vibe was so thick you couldn't cut it with a steak knife!! Red: Girl.....I liiiiike you! I like you A-L-O-T. Ber: Nice meetin' ya lady!!!!!!! All my other Homie G's: It was SO nice to see all of you. Lotsa familiar faces out tonight! As for the music....Ohh Mah Goodness! Yeah, that was great night! Badass deep house all the way! During a conversation with John Walker, he said something that kinda summed up why the Jacket will be missed. He said... Yo, everybody groovin' last night at Ruby really reminded me of how strong the vibe is here in Dallas when people get together and get down. Thanks to Lamont for getting it hot early on(see you soon). Thanks to John Dubbya for the opportunity to share the decks at Select for the last year or so. I was actually driving home from a friend's house in McKinney, tired as hell, when I realized that this would be the one of my last chances to ever dance at the Ruby Room. Holy Lord, I had to go! Thank you, John and Mike. Some of my fondest memories of Dallas thus far have been made on Saturdays there. The crowd was thick and I had a wonderful time. You guys have brought and featured some great talent in Dallas. Hats off to you both. And Liz, thanks for the shots from this weekend! I will no longer fear the Saki Bomb!

Man, I'mma try & make this short & sweet b/c i hate knowing that'll be my last time at ruby room. i just hate i wasn't able to spend it with my new hotness. oh well, no worries.  it was another fuckin' badazz night, no doubt. nice to see familiar faces in the crowd, nice to meet some new ones. angie (mookie), glad we finally got to meet. miss pretty young thang. man, o man...i got there about 10:15...and from that moment on, non-stop bootay shakin'. thanks for the drinks juan. i started to thank a lot of ppl i saw saturday night, then i stopped. tee hee, my memory is a bit foggy & i didn't want to leave anyone out. so, if i saw you - good seeing ya & spending time with you for one last night at ruby room. good times...good times indeed.and to the boys that make it happen: words can not describe the feelin' you guys give me. you are TRUELY FAMILY!!!! and i luv you guys so much. i will ALWAYS be there bringin' da support. i'll ALWAYS bring my azz on the dancefloor (even if i'm the only one gettin' down). you guys rock my world...and although i'm sad to see ruby go, i know GREAT, WONDERFUL, AWESOME things are in store for each one of you... and when the time comes to find another "home", i'll be bringin' my azz again. just give me a time & a place - AND I'M THERE!!!  (ber: never fear da saki bomb...tis a great way to start out da night. glad you like it, and there's more in da future, gurlie.)

I have never heard of Lamont Hankins but holy shit, this boy can throw down some tunes...the vibe was beautiful, I took lots of pics so I will make sure to get those posted as soon as I get them developed... I always say the test of a good party is when you can throw your hands in the air and yell at the top of your lungs, and everyone in in the room will join in or yell back.... ...and this happened Saturday night and several occasions.... I enjoyed seeing all of you and you all looked lovely groovin on the dancefloor!! *goes back to searching for Lamont's mixes on the net* |
