Best DJ Epik has brought so far in my opinion. He did shit with the CDJ that just wasn't right. Had a great crowd and he interacted with them well.
And yes, he really can scratch.

Had a blast last night.... Eddie impressed me alot, being the first time I've seen him.

I would like to thank everyone who came out to support us last night. the show was off the f-ing hook. Best night at the lounge in a long time. Great crowd. Great talent. And thanks to all who welcomed me to the Epik family. Karen, Trent thank you so much for giving me this opportunity to work with some of the most talented DJ's in the world.

Eddie was good but i dont remember him being that much of a button pusher(you know what i mean). I dont know who was in the main room around ten but it was like a AMTRAK meeting or two(you figure it out). Jeremy L owned the video bar, maybe he should have been the main room. Just an honest opinon of someone with ears. Music is music and records are records no matter who is puting them on the tables.


If eddie halliwell is number #20 on the top 100 than there should be dallas djs from 19 to 1

Djing is about TALENT or it should be, but it seems to be more like a highschool popularity contest

I finally got to catch RX and he was fuk-N awesome! He had the crowd so pumped before Eddie Halliwel.

Eddie is a badass. His track selection is great, his mixing was great. And Mal1ce is right, that fool can scratch! He's really a showman too and knows how to react with the crowd.

Jeremy Lewallen must be sore today for the marathon set he did last night. I love hearing him spin... and obviously so to a lot of other people!

Nice job on the decorations Karen. She had streamers and balloons and stuff. It's that kind of attention to detail that makes Epik a top quality company. They've got me hooked.

Were you at the same show last night?
The 10 o'clock dj was dj cubano and i was there the whole time. The only thing that could have been mistaken as a "AMTRACK" was some technical difficulties with final scratch. But Cubano by no means was wrecking last night.

Dj Cubano- great job armando! Your prog set was a perfect start to an insane night. Your mixing was on point and your energy level was high. I could have not seen any better person for the opening spot on this evening.

RX- As karen always says "you are my local god". I truely understand her now. You came and ate up that crowd last night! You had the decks smokin for Eddie to jump on them! I kinda was worried that you might have shown up our headliner before he could get on!!!

Johnny-I am so sorry that you had to follow up that act. But the first few tracks I heard of yours were in line to get the place jumpin'! Solid as always!

Jeremy-I'm sorry i couldn't watch you as much as I wanted to. I just could not leave Eddie's side. What I did hear from you aech time i passed through was laid down proper as usual. Jeremy, welcome once again to EpiK-Entertainment!!!!

Yo, I havent had so much fun as I did last night in a long time. Maybe since Meltdown 5.......Considering that I was in a bad mood when i came to the LL last night, due to work.

I walked in on DJ CUBANO SET (quick someone call INS) Nice job bro....take over hispanic (or cuban whatever)community one record at a time. Hey, Dj Cubano was not AMTRAK last night...Shit happens with those computers sometimes.....(hey if computers were perfect, you would only need the one you have now for the rest of your life)

RX....I know you were feeling last night. Great job....Me personally would have been nervous opening up for Eddie, but you handled it like a pro.....(love your new CD)

working saturday morning truely sux....i'm so sorry i missed you guys last night....i've heard nothing but good things....did anyone get a recording of any sort? i'm off at the end of the month, so will mos def be there for john "james bond of trance" fleming....more feedback on eddie's scratching, please....what techniques does he employ? what was he doing w/the mixer and cdj that was so off the wall?

Yes i was there i've been going there for about ten years and i'm not the only one that heard or was talking about what happened with final scratch or whatever. Ever dj at some point TRAINWRECKS no matter who they are its just a fact of life. But im sure that you know that right????

Jason I appreciate your honesty, and I am sorry I wasn't able to play to your standards last night. I did have a few technical problems but by no means is that an excuse for some of the fuck ups yesterday. We ran a sound check WAY before the club opened. That's why the standing joke last night was *ahem* powerbook G4 .

So, although I didn't play as well as I usually do, I appreciate your honesty and your opinion. Hopefully I won't let you down the next I spin brotha .

But Eddie tore the roof off!!!! The first track that Russ dropped was insane, and the second was even better. I was very happy to see alot of people out that night, and seeing everyone having a good time. Eddie is amazing and has never let me down.

Great night, lots of drinks, and great music...you can't go wrong!

halliwell, hmmm. i went expecting a more techy sound, but he was playing what dallas loves him for, and that's trance (can't blame him, he pulled a fucking crowd!). although i don't really dig the style he was playing, i can honestly say his mixes were solid and he knows how to work his crowd. to me, the cdj trick was ENTIRELY too drawn out! in all honesty, about 3 minuites into this "trick", he ran me out of the building. right before the "cdj trick" i think he got a little delay happy on the 600 and was throwing it in on every other beat so it seemed. his scratching, well, that's all it was, scratching. he was not doing anything technical by intricating the x-fader, however simply wiggling the record back and forth quickly in different rhythemical patterns to the beat of the track. i don't know if he did anything more technical earlier in the set or not, however my revieiw is based upon what i saw and heard, from 1:00-2:30.

overall, his job is to entertain and be a performer. he most certainly did his part there. he packed the house and rocked his crowd. BIG UP to epik for such a successful event!

great seeing all the usual suspects out. it was great to meet Trish and her boy Chris. both of you, THANKS SO MUCH for the kind words! *blushes* i promise that i will get you that as soon as it's done (very soon b.t.w.).
