Whoever you talked to doesn't know shit about dnb. Adam's set was one of the best I have seen in the area lately. His best track was a Roni Size remix! He threw down. Check your sources.

I, personally, wasn't real impressed with Adam. He played some monster tunes, but combatting his urge to red-line the fuck outta the mixer and his mashup mixing, I was slightly disappointed. I was comparring the night to the only other time I've heard Adam live (Runninz in 2000) and Friday night didn't hold a candle to that night. To be honest, highlights for my night were Adrian dropping the Gateman remix (STILL one of my favorite tunes) and "Unofficial Ghost" (one of my top tunes of all time), which 85% of the crowd was sleepin' on when it came on. It took all Chrisko & I could do to get AZ to pull it back, the crowd was sleepin' that much!

In any case, big ups to Gilbert & SubPoint for persevering through 3 trial & errors on this one. Overall it was a dope ass event...just not uber geeked out over Adam.

On a final note....I never heard it live (just online), but after Friday I am now completely 100% sure the Circles remix needed to NEVER happen. There's wikid ways to update a classic (ex: Renegade Snares - High Contrast remix) and there's horrible ways (Circles remix).
