True, it does feel good in regards to real accomplishments; i.e. I graduated from the university with a 3.0+ GPA.

But I'm speaking more in terms of having done things that are NOT accomplishments; i.e. "I'm a super bad-ass 'cause I whooped 3 dudes at one time," or "High five guys, nobody said anything about our party we threw this weekend so let's start a thread and massage each others' online egos."

i wouldn't consider any of those items you just listed as accomplishments. those are just poor attempts at making yourself look cool. there is a difference.
