and they shut the door and immediantly lock it. i know its something we all do as we go in especally if someone is near the door, its dumb if you dont. but still it kinda hurts to think that person may have thought i was going to hurt them. i know how a crackhead feels now when he gets close to my car and i hit the lock button, and that lound clunk sound resonates from my car.

i trust no one, so when i become an apt dweller again, this will be formality.

at my apt in LA, i had my decks set up in the living area which was visible from the front door. i had to do this to keep anyone from seeing my set up.

one time i was chatting w/ a neighbor in the door way and this dude walks by and glances at my gear. his eyes lit up. i said, oh shit, here we go. about a week later and i see the cat at the pool. he comes over to me and tells me he's a dj. we've been best friends ever since. so sometimes, ya never know. but i'd rather err on the side of caution.

yeah it makes sense to do that. awhile back my friend threw a party at his new apt. i was piss drunk and went outside to grab something out of my car, well i opened the door to what i though twas his place to find what i could only guess was a grandma and her granddaughter watching tv. they had this oh shit look on thier face. I apologized and ran out. very embarassing. had they locked thier doors that would have never happened

I did the same damned thing when i was about 21. 'cept this was trying to walk back into the apt after ravin' it up all night. I'm sure I looked like one HELL of a crack head. Big ol' black man playing video games w/ his kid looked up at me. I quickly removed myself.
