Well we sell tickets here, and its people calling in about a certain event, that for one has me repeating every last detail of the event plus, directions, plus the details of our store. It gets old for sure. All for this for some goddamn tickets that really have nothing to do with us, nor is there any promotion for us, or sales because its MEXICAN CRUNK MUSIC, and we don't sell that bullshit here. I must have just given direction's six times complete with step by step left's, right's, freeway's, and street names, and they still call back asking for directions. On a side note people call up here asking "YOU GOT THEM TICKETS" I feel like saying " YOU GOT THAT CASH", but i refrain. Someone called up and goes "SAY FOOL YOU GOT ANY TICKETS LEFT" i was like "WTF" call me back when you learn how to talk on the phone, i'm not your fool. so you don't make ANY money on selling the tickets? if you don't then why the hell do you sell the tickets for?

Oh don't get me wrong we do, with other shows i never have this problem, and for like other shows they relate better to what we do, say for like LCD Soundsytem or TV On The Radio. As much as i've had to repeat myself, it just gets annoying. This one guy swore we weren't were i gave him directions to, turns out he can't tell left from right. | |

As far as the music goes to each there own, i say its bullshit, but thats me. On a side note i really could have cashed in, if i had cd's of this type of music, but i've lived & died doing & selling the music i myself believe in, and its not this Stuff. I quit listening to Hispanic RAP when Cypress Hill started to fade, and of coarse Lighter Shade Of Brown, and some of Kid Frost. This new stuff will NEVER COME CLOSE TO THAT. | |

I was there to witness this Saturday. I wasn't even the one dealing with the people and I was annoyed. I was there a few hours shopping and hanging out. The phone was ringing every 5-10 minutes with people asking about tickets. One funny note: out of the customers who came for tickets while I was there, the guys that tried to act the toughest had to come back within a couple of hours to buy another ticket because they had already lost one. Oh well, at least they got to hear some good beats while in the shop. I even caught one of them bobbing his head for a moment. Maybe a seed of interest in something besides screwed and crunk was planted in one of them. |

isn't it part of your job to deal with dumb questions if you work in retail, or with the public in general? Regardless, a lot of that new stuff is actually pretty good as far as Pitbull, and Play N Skills goes.
