Shorts week at work - Dallas Dance Music - Dallas nightlife, music, tickets, and more

OK, so our CEO had given us shorts week at work... due it being Shark Week on the Discovery Channel (yea, it's odd. None of knew he was so excited about sharks!).

Which, fine... whatever. Honestly, I don't have enough shorts to wear them all week and I like being modest at work, so I only wear them if they come down to my knees.

Well, I wish everyone else felt the same way! Meaning: wear shorts but be MODEST.

Unfortunately, the one gal who shouldn't be showing a lot of skin sits right outside my door... and likes to wear shorts... that are way above the knee. Gosh, on Friday, she even had her tummy hanging out! Come on, it's a professional office... keep the tummy covered at least.

So yea, I have to be subjected to "too much skin" all week long. Ugh.

so the point of this thread was pointing out that an overweight woman wasnt being 'modest' in her shorts selection??

and of course you arent fat... you do your best to point that out to everyone here.

Edit? What did I edit? I didn't edit anything. All of my posts are as they were the first time I posted them.

The point of the thread was to rant about the fact that our CEO gave us shorts week... and now I gotta look at someone who shows too much skin... sitting right outside my office door. Once a week fine (every Fri we can wear shorts), 5 days this week... no thanks.

With that said... I do have fat on me. I'm not perfect. I've got cellulite... and some fat on my belly... and I COVER IT UP! I don't let it all hang out for the world to see.

Even thin people have problem areas... and it's OK to cover those up and to dress to highlight the positives.
