Mike im the same way I dont take any medicine headache, sinus or otherwise but I did my research and the ingrediants in prilosec are low impact and the damage that long term reflux can cause is much worse!@

yeah i was hesitant but if you look it up there are currently no negative side effects and hastn been shown to be linked to vitaman or metabolism deficiancies like many other drugs

My bf says that baking soda and water gets rid of it right away. I have yet to get the guts to try that though.

Bogus. I never had heartburn until this year, but only 2 or 3 times. I imagine it's going to get worse since I eat spicy shit 24/7. I had no idea drinking had anything to do with it, though.

Oh and the baking soda thing does work (or it did/does for my dad), but it's REALLY bad for you. Heard it gives you kidney stones? Erm, something like that. I guess if you do it a lot, I dunno.

I went to Whole Foods and got some Papaya extract and that did the trick. Try it. The brand is Country Life. Vegetarian natural Tropical Papaya enzyme supplement.

Worked wonders.
