Well, I know a few people on here have had issues with TWC. So, I figured I would add something to the pot.

Those fuckers lost my $120 payment last month. I have been paying them through my online banking account for the past 2 years. Never a payment lost. All of a sudden they can't find my $120.

So it's in research mode right now. They better find my damn money.

don't recall which utility it was but....

I paid the bill and let's say it was $123.45

the idiots recorded payment as $1.23.... they held the check forever... long enough that I notified them of their error because of a new billing prior to them submitting the check for payment. They refused to research their own records for the actual check... then.... we start monthly calls for correction... they assure me it is done.... then each month I get a fucking penalty for carrying a balance.... went on forever until I finally got a paper copy mailed it to them and screamed bloody murder... fucking bitches

that's why you always write down your authorization number or whatever number it is they give you when you make the payment

that shit happened to me with TXU and i just called up and gave them the payment amount and the auth # and that payment was put on the same day

if you meant routing number etc... I make a copy of every check so I had all relevent info.. which is why I was so fucking pissed. They had the goddamn check, they just refused to look for it.

lol... yeah our basic approach to these things is for her to initiate negotiations because she remains polite. When she gets frustrated then I take over because I have no problem making demands etc etc and not remaining polite

i was speaking to Karen who mentioned making an online payment... with online payments they give you an Auth # or a Confirmation #... something along those lines.

and your routing number shouldn't change, it should be the same for every check... not sure why you'd want to write that down. now your CHECK number would be useful as well as the carbon copy for that check would be useful and you hopefully ask your bank to either save photocopies of every check or you have them mail them back to you. that's another way to cover yourself.
