Service Industry people that come into work sick!!!!

So I am at the national rental counter and the lady is bitching about how sick she is and dosnt wanan be at work. She proceeds to fucking cough all over me and my receipt. She slides it to me and im like "Uhh no thanks dont need a receipt"

If you work in an industry where you have to have interaction with over 30 people a day you shoudl NOT come into work sick!!!!

I am like thanks, I really wanted to get sick on my vacation, that would be sweet!!!

I can see this if you work in an office building of have little interaction with other besides your coworkers but for people to come in sick when the interact with possibly 100's of people of day is insane especially with theese airborne pathogens that are mutating and killing people, its a dis-service to the customer.

I happen to know that at Central Market, if you call out more than 6 days over the course of a year even WITH a doctor's excuse, you get shitcanned.

FORTUNATELY, in the year and a half I worked there, I only got sick once.. Only called in one day for it, and hauled my ass in the rest of the time to spare my job. Let me tell you how hard it is to sell herbs and vitamins to people when you have bronchitis... They tend not to believe your recommendations.

Nope, I used to be a waiter for many years. I feel I am courteus to service industry personel. There is a diffrence in that and not wanting to be outta work or outta being healthy and lively becuase a company dosnt wanna let their employee's to have time to recover. Company's make a big stink about employee's washing their hands what diffrence is there if theyre coughing on everything.
