Okay, so as I'm sure some of you read, I've had a few things to deal with that have taken me away from work since Monday, and I can't stop torturing myself over missing work. It started out with me having fever and chills on Monday morning, which then turned into one of my pets having to undergo emergency surgery and losing a limb. I know in my rational mind that both of these things completely justify not coming in, and I don't work for a bunch of assholes to begin with and I know they know that I more than give a shit about what happens up there, but I just can't stop obsessing over it. Like I mean I've had to take an Adavan over it and I've called and sent three emails to the office over the subject. I'm sure they're just like wtf lol.

Does anyone else do this or am I just effing mental?

Responsible people, will alway worry or have a sense of concern for there careers...even in the face of "excusable" absence.

*edit* um, sometimes, if i know that I called in sick b/c i'm not really sick. and it's not really torture, it's more like me thinking, "I really should have gone to work," then going back to sleep.

That's the thing though, I was actually sick and one of my pets had to be rushed to the vet. We've spent the majority of the past two days up there actually.

I always am somewhat stressed about getting this monthly thing done before anyone else. So only 1 wk out of the month do I ever feel "gulity" about not working at work on time at work.... if I am not on time.

Don't worry.

Even if I just leave 30 minutes early I still check my email once I get home. Hell, I was answering emails from home while on a "vacation" day.
