So I opened a checking account with BofA and I did this process online (my first mistake). I figured it would be easier for me and less time consuming than actually going to a branch and going thru that entire process. It went smoothly and before i new it I recieved my check card and was all setup within a week or two. The only thing that I never received were checks, which I just found out that I have to pay for even though its my first batch of checks. I assumed that with any account, you get a free batch of checks (second mistake). Well thats what I get for making assumptions.

anyways, I went ahead and ordered the dallas cowboy's checks.

first problem so far with BofA

Dude I have them and Im tired of paying $6 a month for checking I mean $6 isnt much but fuck them they charge for everything

see thats another reason why i signed up online, no maintenance fee's. although I plan on setting up direct deposit anyways, I guess making me buy my checks is pay back. lol

i opened up one not too long ago in addition to my other bank account. I didn't order checks and got the boston red socks bank card. I'm not paying for the account because i'm putting a little aside from direct deposit every month. f it.

Damn. I've never paid for anything with my bank. It's gotta suck to pay someone to hold your money for you.

Only reason I signed up with them was because at the time they were offering $100 and no fees for 6 months I also signed up online and have never bothered ordering any checks

Well hen some one gives me a check i always tell them I wont take bank of America checks simple for these reasons.

If I present your check, to them Since I dont bank with them they wont cash it, unless I pay them a fee, for cashing your check with your bank.

They wont cash a check either at, the drive tru, either, its for there customers only.

Should you write a check with my buisness name. Im SOL, even with my DBA since I dont bank with them, they wont cash it.

So yeah If you dont bank with them, they arent, buisness friendly.

My advice is anyone who reads this to close your account. Woodforest is by far more buisness friendly. Honestly any other bank.

LaunchPaD- Why do you pay $6.00? Is it b/c you don't have direct deposit? I don't have any monthly fees.

I guess so but the business im in it would be impossible to have direct deposit
