I am never going to succeed in life unless I surround myself with experts at the things I'm interested in. People that can take you to the next level. People that can mentor you.

I have done this for people. I am a pretty good mentor. I need to remember how to give a fucking compliment, ask people to teach me, and follow through.

And I know this, and have HAD people tell me this, and still can't swallow my ego. This sucks.

new years resolution say what.

it's a delicate balance. you want to have an ego and be confident in your own ability because nobody looks up to a soft-spoken, self loathing weak individual. Best way to come to terms with your own shortcomings is to admit them to yourself and others with a smile on your face.
