I love how companies in America are really like Dilbert Comics.

We have a team here called Production Excellence. Its really only 2 guys. 1 is the manager and the other is his right hand man. The manager guy spends his times in meetings and following up on issues. Right Hand man is just a place holder. He takes on like 10 task and then goes around delegating them to peons like myself. Of course we just laugh and never do complete anything because well its shit he should be doing and I'm already working like 5 other things.

So 1 of our production boxes came down today. I e-mail the admins and they get to work on it. Now mind you this probably takes about a good 10 minutes for us to find the box and make sure we don't restart the wrong thing. Everyone here knows its down and I've sent out 5 e-mails already with him CC'd on it.

Then this fucktard sends out this e-mail.

David, we need this box and app up. Its production.

LOL!

David then calls me asking who this guy is and why is he stating the obvious.

What I really hate is when you are handed work that doesn't even belong to your dept. or business and the next thing you know you are scheduling meetings and conference calls in reference to it.

If you think about it, the comics are like American companies. Dilbert didn't come first. Who says companies in other countries don't do the same thing. Many companies are global these days.
