That happened to a business owner I know. Plate glass is really expensive, and they tagged about 75ft of it across the front of one of his buildings. Stupid shit too, just writing their names over and over. For one reason or another, his insurance wouldn't cover it, so he was out $5,000 to replace the glass.

Luckily they caught those particular taggers last year. From what I heard, one of them was charged with 180 counts of vandalism, criminal mischief, and trespassing. It would have been more, but the prosecutor didn't want to deal with the paperwork.

I'm all about some graffiti art, but those kids are just little punk asses.

Didn't they do something in NYC where they actually commissioned local graff artists to do parts of the subway? For some reason I recall reading that.

I think they did that in Nyc in like 85 or some shit or during the white periods but there are too many writers with different agendas so shit like that will never work some writers will like the commisioned spots and some will only want to hit illegal spots you just have to accept the good with the bad maybe one day these same dudes will be doing productions or burners and you will feel their steez right now they are still beginners

Yeah i feel you but most writers start out by tagging i personally think dope handstyles are fresh i think the cause of the lack of dope pieces in dallas is that most of these writers are happy to catch free wall fame and paint at a local club spot instead of puttin in work to get there names out also there isnt enough beef between crews or writers to fuel the progression
