People who don't say what they are REALLY feeling

Someone went off on me on Sunday & I thought they were just going to vent to me about
1. being bored
2. being ignored
3. being too hung over to hang out

But no, they went off on me about something that we had talked about previously & the matter would be taken care of. I talked to Phil about it today & he said, "That person just wanted attention."

REALLY? I can't stand when ANYONE goes through such lengths to vent about something that has NOTHING to do what is really going on in their mind. I honestly felt bad about what the person told me & looked deeper into thinking I was leaving something out, but I checked & everything is actually in MY favor, they are the ones that are not doing their part.

Just tell me what is REALLY going on. I don't do ESP & I'm not intitive. What. The. Fuck. Are. You. Really. Feeling. Honey.

I tend to prefer it when people don't tell me what they're really thinking... I sometimes try to reciprocate. We're both usually happier for it.

Tell it like it is and let others deal with it as they can. Be tactful if possible, but if you know they aren't going to get it any other way, lay it on instead of laying into them.

Some people deal with things differently. Find out how they deal with things, then outsmart them, the next time you talk about anything. If it bothers you that much and they're worth keeping as a friend, you'll figure it out and/or will accept their ways. If you could give two shits about their friendship, cut ties and be done with it. Right now you're on here bitching about them, instead of going straight to them to bitch about it. In a way that is kind of making you guilty of being the same.

Definately perfer this as well, however, I like for the ones I love to feel my love back. I just don't like anyone who:
- beats around the bush
- sugar coats their words
- try to manipulate me for their benefit

Just tell me what you mean. I am honest & blunt & ready to roll, let's party & have fun & do whatever, but I have no time for anyone to bring some werid unrelated conversation to the table JUST SO I WILL PAY ATTENTION.

This person has NEVER done anything like this before. This person is more blunt than I am on a day to day basis which is why it took me for a spin.

Having to outsmart my friends? WTF? I talked to that person this morning & I'm still thinking, "That was a weird way to deal needing attention."

Yeah, I'm bitching in the rants raves & complaints b/c I know other ppl probably have been in this situation as well. I enjoy group conversations about other ways I could have dealt w/it verses me calling the person up & saying, "Why did you get shitty with me on Sunday?"

At least the person was back to their normal self to answer me, "Because you were being a fucking bitch to me & I thought you were talking shit about me in the car."

My father-in-law... love him to death. He is the world's most indirect person I've ever met. Drives me up the fucking wall. My family, probably more blunt than we should be. You can see how the two styles are made for each other.
