Having to toss out your favorite blankie
Sooo...I have this down comforter that I sleep with year round. I can't remember when I bought it, but it was several years ago. I'm one of those people that can NOT deal with just sleeping with a sheet. Anyway, it's been getting pretty beat up over the past however long but I couldn't bring myself to throw it away. One of the kiddos got ahold of some scissors right after I moved here and cut a big hole in it, so I just duct taped it back together and slept with that part at my feet, even though some of the feathers were still coming out. There were stains all over it from the babies spilling stuff or rubbing their gooey hands on it, but that was still not enough to deter me.

But yesterday my son walked up while I was wrapped up in it and peed on the blanket and on me.

It's now sitting in a box on the curb.

*pours a little laundry detergent on the ground for my homie*

well you could have washed it well, sewn the whole up instead of duct tape, and gotten a duvet cover.

too late now.

I feel ya on the blanky attatchment I have multiple back ups, bc I will hold onto one til it literally unravels the last thread.

When I was little in Cali we were in the mountains going around a curve in the road. I guess I was crying or being bad so my mom took my blankie and pretended she was going to toss it out the window. The wind caught ahold of it and sucked it out and down the mountain. They had to deal with me crying the entire ride home, but that's what she gets. I still give her shit about it

Check your local Tuesday Morning. I found a down comforter there for $50. Sure, its not the comforter you've had for years, but it will at least keep you from the torture of sleeping with just a sheet.

Hahhaha no but I like the show. Not as much as him though. Plus he loves horror movies. If anyone would kill on the side in secret it would be him! The nice, quiet ones are always the serial killers.
