I gained weight from getting sick. then i was sad because i was sick. I gained 25 pounds over a year! I was not over weight, but i could have a better BMI.

None of my friends or BOYFRIEND told me i was getting "bigger". So i kept eating bad, and not being active. Hang'in out & smoking alot of herb.

Then one day i decided i wanted to do more with my career and have a happy, healthy life. I took action, got moving (slowly). Now im down to 119! woo hoo!

I understand why people gain weight, and i feel for those people. But letting it go over two years is LAZY. Im lazy, and i did it! lol

It is all what u really care about. If u want something really bad, u will find a way to get it.

It doesn't bother me "so bad", I was just curious why these people aren't motivated to lose the weight, especially when they're more prone to dying from diseases than your regular person. But, the same can be said about drug addicts, they don't really think about death or what will happen as a result of the actions they do or do not take. Why is a drug addict not motivated to get sober? Same reason why a fat person doesn't feel motivated to lose weight.

i weight 210 - 215 and i'm 6'1.

By "junk food" I don't mean strictly junkfood fast food places. You can still cook for yourself and I'll consider it junk food. If it's not healthy, I consider it junkfood.

Take right now for instance, I'm drinking coffee, eating pistacios, and bit-o-honeys. I'm almost full.

We pretty much stopped eating fast food. I feel better about eating a home cooked meal, even if it's not completely healthy. I anxiously await Jamaican jerk porkchops tomorrow.
