For me it's opposite. When I get depressed I don't eat so it's really bad for me to be like that lol I think maybe if I start working out my appetite might go up so once I move I'm going to start hitting up the gym in my new apts.

I went to a nutritionist a few years ago and she wanted me to eat 4000 calories a day. I tried it and was literally sick to my stomach all the time and super bloated. Not really the weight I want to put on ya know.

Theres only one time in my life I've been at 130 and I loved it. Wish I could get back there.

Well, when I get so fat that it makes me depressed, THEN I stop eating. lol.

I was talking more like "I had a shitty week, I'm ugly, I'm a bastard, let's go out to dinner so I can get crabcakes and lobster bisque and a ceasar, then I want to get drunk".. splurging on really fatty (yummy) foods (and beverages) like that, make me feel happy. It's an instant gratification thing with really expensive foods. That are preferably served to me. lol.

lol.....I just tend to lose my appetite if I get really stressed out or depressed. I've never had the "I feel fat today" day in my life.....although when I did gain some weight I tried to put on a pair of jeans that were 5's and couldn't get them over my ass!

I lol'd cuz that was a first!

No I meant what is happening with your body, that makes you unable to keep weight? I know Kim has the same issue with that... what did your nutritionalist say? If this is too nosey just tell me to stfu.

Oh...haha...I honestly have no idea other than I smoke and being under stress. Usually I eat a ton, unless I'm depressed, but past roommates of mine always saw me eating, but never saw me gain weight.

The only time I ever did gain weight was when I lived with my friend Tish and she use to cook a lot of healthy stuff, but then I got sick and lost it all and was never able to put it back on.

So honestly I don't know what's wrong....I've been tested for thyroid problems and everything else that would cause me not to gain weight and everything came back normal, I just have an insane metabolism I guess.

Hmmm, eating MORE healthy made you gain weight? That's so odd.

You ever try eating different combinations of foods? Like, sausage and peanuts? Certain combos, work with your body, to give you different results. I would speak more of this but I only heard about it by a friend of a friend, so you'd have to do some research.

Never heard of that, but it was weird how I gained the weight for sure. I guess it was just because I was eating more balanced food than fast food, which you think would work opposite.....at least for most people.

The nutritionist I went to see wanted me to eat 4000 calories a day. Basically anytime I ate I had to drink a carnation instant breakfast that was half whole milk and half 1/2 & 1/2 because it had more calories in it. I did that for about a week before I got sick because my stomach is so small.

Yuck, can't you just eat normal foods but just make sure there's butter on everything?

She said to do that too on top of everything else. It was ridiculous and just didn't work for me.

As you age it is only natural that your metabolism begins to work against you. So naturally as you get more physically fit and or older the time that you invest in working out is going to have to be greater.
