Did they fight too?

Ours don't shit anywhere, they just mark territory (which isn't the same as peeing... they still use the litter boxes).

It all started when two of them got into a hardcore brawl. Ever since, they have been marking.

thats the weird thing they never would fight and they used their litterbox ....all of sudden one day they started peeing and shiting on one of our couches.....

i think it was one more than the other but i had no way of knowing who was guilty

for all i know they could of been spraying and not peeing

i even took them to the vet to make sure they didn't have a uti or something even though that wouldnt explain the pooping everywere

Hmm. Well, I am trying to narrow down which ones are doing it now. I know the female isn't. And I am pretty sure one of the males is not doing it. But the three others are the ones I can't catch in the process. I think the next step is taking them to the vet, which is gonna suck. 4 cats is not cheap.

Jayson's cat keeps peeing on my clothes if I leave them in the floor - and he's neutered! Jayson blames it on my dog, and I blame it on his cat. We haven't found either in the middle of it - just the aftermath.
And since his cat absolutely hates me and my clothes haven't been peed on ever until the cat came along, I'm still gonna blame it on his cat! humph!

It has nothing to do with you or the dog. It's an instinct. And the reason he keeps doing it is because he can smell it in the clothes already. I have some stuff at home that you can wash your clothes in that will kill the smell. I'll look at the name of it and tell ya. You NEED to do that because it won't stop if you don't.

The other reason he is doing it is... since cats are such clean animals, they don't like clutter and it sometimes causes them to try to mark. We have been picking up all our clothes and shit and trying to keep the house as clean and clutter free as possible lately. They actually let up a bit when we got back from Bonnaroo, but since then we have been lazy and tossing clothes on the floor when we get home and stuff, and we've noticed it picked back up.

I'm actually spending my day tomorrow cleaning the house for that reason alone.
