Were you at man....i have had that happen before and someone bought my lunch for me....so if your in the south east irving / west dallas area around 11:00 to 12:00 i will cover you for lunch

Thanks Blazen! Unfortunately I'm at LBJ and Central. I just found a grilled boob I had in the fridge from yesterday that I didn't eat, so I at least have something to hold me over.

I wish they did around this place. We have two kitchens in our office, one for the front office workers and one for the warehouse/factory workers. Its basically become seperated by race, the white people kitchen and the mexican kitchen.

Every day at lunch time I start to smell the most amazing food from the mexican kitchen. They bring in fresh veggies and meats every day and cook food that rivals the best Mexican restaurants in town. I always get to smell it and never get to taste it. Instead at lunch time I get to go to the white kitchen, home of the microwave popcorn smell, mixed with the foul stench of hot pockets and burned coffee. Sometimes they like to kick it up a notch and add the smell of cigarettes and cigars. Its a painful daily letdown. The mexicans always seem to have a basket of bannanas, apples, and grapes sitting on the counter. In the white kitchen I get the choice of twinkies, stale doughnuts, or snack bags of dorritos. I have reached the point that I want to learn how to speak spanish just so I can talk my way into eating lunch in with them every day.

I'm not even Mexican but EVERY single day someone comments on how good my lunch SMELLS. lol Sucks, even Americanized latinos store carby munchables in their kitchen. I know that good fresh food is a cultural thing.
