so apparently this is the week the majority of my best friends decided to walk all over me. i'm not an angry person hardly ever, but the combo of events the past weeks have me on fucking FIRE.

one told me something in confidence, knowing even though i would disagree with it i wouldn't tell anyone BECAUSE i'm trustworthy. then said friend decides to lie about what they are doing, include me in the lie, and not tell me. finally something happens and the friend asks me to lie to cover their previous lies...DESPITE the fact they knew i disagreed with it. when i wouldn't they got pissed and they are considering terminating our friendship. well FUCK. YOU.

I was talking to another friend, made a joke (normal joke we say all the time), and then he told me to go fuck myself out of nowhere. then proceeds to tell me he has no friends and is all alone. i told him it's probably cause he tells his friends to fuck off for no damn reason. i was planning on hanging out with him that day too. FUCK. YOU.

another was hangin out with me only when she didn't have something better to do. if something comes up she would bail...either before or during a meetup. i called her out and she apologized. so she's cool.

but in general i'm getting really fucking sick of people not treating me with respect, abusing my trust, integrity, kindness and generosity. i know who the fuck i am, don't treat me like a child. we're not in fucking high school anymore. grow up and take responsibility for your own damn actions.

the point of this i suppose is that i'm pissed right now cause i feel like some of my very best friends have deserted me over some lame shit. i'm hurt and i'm angry, but i'm not going to let this ruin my life. on the contrary, i plan on getting this worked out (with them preferably, or without them) and being a better person for it. *wipes brow

just drop them then...i mean honestly...sometimes we all have to learn to live in our own heads a bit..most people will just use and use and use, until there is no more left to use, sad statement about the condition of society but it's very true. This is why i don't have very many people i would call friends,..i have lots of associates...ya dig.

Being away from my friends has made me appreciate the ones I have more, and filtered out the ones who weren't really worth my time, simply by lack of communication, etc. Just stop talking to them, if they decide to contact you and make good later on down the line, so it goes.

You know what you're time and friendship is worth, let them work out what they lose by acting that way to you.

That's definitely a shitty day, I'd say go have gelato, but it's probably really expensive in America and doesn't taste as good.

True friends won't put you in a situation that makes you question your friendship. I honestly have less than 10 true friends, and most of them are people I grew up with and know would be there for me no matter what. The others are a few people I have met later in my life and just clicked with immediately without any question. We have differences, but we all respect each others differences and would never do anything to jeopardize our friendship. Good luck. I hope you get it worked out!

friendship is overrated. i've got 2 friends that i bullshit with on the phone once a week. i spend the rest of the time at work, with my girlfriend, at the gym, or chillin on my couch, alone.
