Fucking Hurricane

I have a meeting in corpus tomorrow at 11am, weather channel says that a hurricane will be hitting Corpus at 10am. Just called the client, he says....."they are almost always wrong, come down anyway because the meeting will not be canceled unless they issue a mandatory evacuation."

Fucking A...sounds like Im driving down to hurricane country tonight.

I think I am just going to drive down to San Antonio tonight and see what it looks like in the morning, who knows might get lucky and see it spinn off to Mexico or something.

That's shitty you have to drive down there in that weather.

Though they say it's not supposed to get stronger than a category 1, 70 mph winds. There were winds close to that during dust storms in Lubbock. I also read they wouldn't have a mandatory evac unless it grew to a Cat 3, so you're outta luck there too.

Just be careful not to drive through any deep water lol...

Oh believe me if this client didnt put as much cash in my pocket as he does there is no way I would be doing this shit.

Anyway I made it to San Antonio for the night so now I just gotta hope that the storm doesn't blow his office away overnight so I can get some business done in the morning.
