I paid my phone/internet bill w/the card name that I have on file & tried to remeber the 3 # code on the back, but I failed both times.

So I just logged out of the AT&T website & paid my bill later that Thursday night when I actually found my card w/the 3# code on it.

Everything was peachy! I had a great wk, got my hair done, made dub rave, drove around w/my shirt off, danced in a warehouse, had a swim, ya know just a regular wkend w/o worries.

Come on Monday find that my credit card was charged THREE TIMES. Well I just figured the PENDING TRANSACTIONS would just fall off (b/c that has happened before). So I wait till Tuesday & they are still there. Wednesday, still pending. Today I'm thinking, "Okay I gotta got these folks UP!" Since the transaction is not showing up on my AT&T account (& the ONE payment that I made did).

I called up my credit card company & they told me that I need to fax them proof that the payment is not valid. And that it will take 24-48 hours...or I can just wait 30 days for the PENDING transactions to fall off. So I fax over the paper work.

Guess I should have called on MONDAY.

30 days??? That's ridiculous. Even Compass Bank doesn't pull that shit.
