Brown Recluse Spiders SUCK!!

Got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom . While in the middle of my biz I look down and see this nasty ass spider near my foot. Finish my biz and OUCH, this fucking 8 legged motherfucker bit me. I trapped the fucker, went to google to look up brown recluse bites, read all the shit about it, freak out, Hit redeye up on chat, he told me to call 'ask a nurse', I did. They told me to get into the ER asap.... SO, get my ass into the ER and by the time I got in my right foot started to swell up and HURT. The doctor told me that getting in as fast as I did and getting treatment was a good thing. People don't normally get in and get treatment as fast as I did. Usually the symptoms of swelling and the the tissue loss bring them in. Got shots and vicodin and a fucking $500 fucking bill, and it hurts to walk right now...... FUCK YOU SPIDER!!! FUCK YOUR KIND!!! And a big FUCK YOU for the goddamn bill from the ER!!!

Man, those spider bites are nasty. I had a friend who got bit on his stomach. Can't recall all the details, but it sure did leave a memory of... never get bit by one of those!

My dad almost lost his thumb from one earlier this year. Was out feeding our horses, saw it in the feed bin and knocked it out with the can. Turns out it was on the can and not on the ground, bit him on the thumb. Ended up being pretty bad, but my dad didn't go to the doctor until 7 days later.

Good thing you caught it early.

A cousin of mine got bit in his armpit, he lost a lot of tissue from it. Almost his entire bicep was destroyed and now he looks lop sided with one tiny little arm and one normal arm.

YEA! Googled that shit and went "time for the ER!!". Thank god I live 1.5 minutes away from Doctors Hospital and there was NO ONE in the ER waiting for treatment, got right in, no wait. It was a 30 minute span of time from bite to treatment. The thing that was another blessing is that the spider bit me on a more callused part of the foot and the skin was real thick. Another plus was that I got ice on it immediately and kept ice on it til I went into the ER. The doctor said that the ice was prob the best thing I could do, it kept the swelling down and thus prevented any venom from traveling farther than it did. So I think i dodged a bullet (lets hope!). Its not as swollen as it was last night, just hurts like a motherfucker ATM.

Just got the vicodin's filled and I am floaty and happy ATM, hahahha. Going to get the money back, didn't have the insurance shit with me. I could have waited for the ER to sort it out, I just wanted to go back to bed so I paid the shit out of pocket so I could get out of there. Just a hassle. After seeing all the NASTY fucking pics of bites on google, I am very glad that I went in and got treatment.

I got bit by one in HS and after a few days the bite looked like a bullet hole on my leg. I couldnt walk bc the pain. I ended up in the hospital for a few days on an IV. Good thing you caught it so early or it wouldve cost you much much more to treat!
