not that it matters, but i had to call this one out from the LA Riots show that Umalak posted. Too fucking funny. This is the dude from the MSTRKRFT show that scottie was talking about.

i don't know, its like, ok, your not even the real promoter, the dj doenst really know you except through myspace msgs, and you're gonna stand right next to the dj. I mean really?

It seems so disrespectful to the entertainer to do that. If a local band plays can you imagine the promoter standing next to the bass player or on the drum riser?

no it was the loft's show, promoted by the Party, for their hands up party.

I'm sure she will have them back at some point since they had a good turn out.

the odd part is that he's built some kind of weird thing in his mind that he really is a promoter, but he's never done a show on his dime(i think he's done 2 anyway), lied about shows he didnt promote to magazines to get said shows(to URB), and untill about 2 years ago had never listened to edm.

When my homie was doing obar, and he was using cds, he was like, "i dj with vinyl", one of those types, although he never djed outside his bedroom.
