girl, you need to get a check register and USE IT! save all the debit card receipts during the day, and then before you go to bed get them all entered in your check register. yeah its a pain in the ass, but i haven't had one overdraft fee in like 2 years. and yes, i still write checks but as soon as i write the check i subtract the money in my check register.

you're straight just throwing that money in the trash. $500 of your hard earned money is now in the trash.

Don't know if you're serious but I use that very same approach. After being on here and taking money advice from David Austin, Matt, and Gomer. I don't see why many of us on here aren't stocked with cash at all times.

with instant online banking and protection that can now come from accounts outside your bank in some cases there really isnt ever a situation where you should get NSF fees.

really the only things you have to pay attention to are pends from bars, calculate tips that wont appear on pends, and be careful using your card as a credit at a gas station.

other than that... theres no need for a register with good online banking.

If only your bank had that drag and drop feature you talked about on their website, with pretty colors...then reminding yourself to transfer monies would be fun and you'd remember to do it!
