Truck problems
I think my starter is going out. I almost did not start today. I am going to bring it to the shop tomorrow. That means I will need to get a rental for a day. This sucks. I don't have a 2nd vehicle. More money more money more money

Hi! Welcome to my world. Coming up is broken fan belts and the possibility of a clogged Raidiator. Coming up on your left, a loose battery tray with an alternator that's damn near corrdoed by battey acid. Behind that, the possibility of a faulty wire in, or around said alternator. Next we have a mysetrious idling issue. Finally, co-workers telling you to get a new car. Nevermind that a new car = payments out the ass and since I'm in school, that wouldn't be a wise investment for the time being.

I guess I will rent a car b/c I am watching my brother and sister this week. I need a vehicle in case anything happens. I hope enterprise will be able to pick me up if I need to rent a car.

Are you positive its your starter and not your battery? Starters are super easy to change out by the way. As well as the battery. Should be take less than an hour to change either.
