- the ceiling in one of our bathrooms is basically a trashbag held up by pushpins; they cut a giant hole in it to find an upstairs leak and simply haven't had the time to come back and fix the ceiling.

- the faucet head in the other bathroom decided to just pop off one day and it took about a week to get it glued back on

- i went a week in the middle of August with no A/C bc of "regular flushing" for my unit, and when it came back it wasn't the same one and it was ******-rigged into the window

- went to hang up a towel a couple weeks ago and the whole towel rack simply fell off the wall

- at the last apt, something went haywire with the electricity and half the apt was in darkness. took almost 2 weeks to get it fixed, but not bc somebody wasn't working on it. it was bc some dumbfuck who had no business messing with the wiring tried to fix it; he'd rip outlets from the wall and just leave them there, exposed wires hanging out and everything. i had to take a certified letter to the manager and threaten to call a lawyer before they got one of the trained and competent maintenance men over to fix it. guess how long it took for him to figure out the prob, fix it, and clean up everything. about 2 hours.

- again at the last place, had a really bad roach problem for the first month i was there. supposedly, the bug dude came and sprayed 3 times with his heavy duty spray. roaches were still there and then the office stopped returning my phone calls. went to kroger, spent $25 on roach bait, problem solved in 2 days.

my place isnt to bad actually. the first time you ask, they wont do anything. If you go and remind them a few days later they actually send someone out. my fridge went bad and I think it took them maybe 10 days from the first complaint to actually getting a new fridge, might have only been a week, but I forget.

You're lucky. I had to remind mine that it was a food health and safety issue before he actually got off his ass and did anything about it.
