Shitty Landlords/Property Owners

Renting a house in Lakewood/Junius Heights area and the property leasing owner is a complete piece of shit. Refrigerator stopped cooling properly a month ago and after 2 weeks of repeated calls he finally sends out some crack head that vacuums the intake and says it's fixed.

To keep it short it took another 2 weeks of harassment to get a new fridge order and it gets here today and it's some $150 P.O.S. brand "Hotpoint". I know it's going to take another 2 weeks to get the old fridge picked up.

Tell me your horror stories to make me feel better.

My apartments SUCK at getting anything done.

I have to ask 3 times before they do what they are asked to do.

It took me 3 tries to try to get a new lease to sign. I mean, I'm trying to resign my lease and it took them a month to get it to me, and that's after I called, wrote a letter and went to talk to them.

The light in my kitchen went out. I only had to ask once and they replaced it. THEN it would only work 1/2 the time. So I had to ask them to replace it again. It took me 3 times to get it fixed.

Now days when I need something done I always write a letter to the complex. I put at the time of the letter what request # it is. "Maintenance Request- #3"

I keep copies of those letters. If there comes a time they aren't fixing something when they should, I'm breaking my lease over that shit and I'm going to have written proof.

in my apt, i've had the roof of my whole building re-done and new a/c unit put in, working on new garbage disposal next

I remember Roos & Amy said their property owner is the shit and he lives in Greenville which is not a better area IMO.
