thats messed up! it prob would have taken her half the time to do it if she wasn't bitching and moaning the whole way through.

i just signed up with netflix and love it so far. you get your movies in a timely fashion and can watch certain ones on your comp. i also like how it recommends movies you may have not otherwise seen based on your ratings of other flicks.

I think its video stores in general, with a few exceptions. I went tonight to the Family Video to get Street Kings for my flight in the morning...all 150 copies out. I ask the woman working there if she had any behind the counter, she says no. I ask her to check the drop box cause this dude had just dropped in about 10 dvds. She goes over looks and says "It just came out today, we aren't going to have any." I informed her that sometimes people rent movies and bring them right back. I almost added that it is 2008 and people rent movies, rip them, and return them to the store, but she was already acting like a DVD Nazi.

There's another woman that works there that acts like she hand built the fucking place. She rings up my DVDs, asks me how much on my late fees, I tell her $1, she says, how about 2? I say, how about just a dollar? She says, if you put one of your movies back, you can put more on your fees. I say, how about we just continue with this current transaction so I can go home and watch my movies? I mean c'mon...

Then they have this Carlton lookin mofo in there who was training some new girl and right in front of me goes "Customers are some of the worst people on the planet. They want anything and everything for free. Watch out for the aggressive ones who try to intimidate you." I nonchalantly asked him if he ever shopped at the Tom Thumb right up the road. He said yeah all the time. I go, "Well, that would make you a customer wouldn't it? I mean, I'm just saying...", dude ignored my and asked for my info to ring up my dvds.

Those fuckers are hardcore and only making $6.50/hr (if they're lucky), I don't get it...
