| Standard Cable Rant - But Whos Got the Best?
mines isnt that bad, but installation from 5-8, with a call at 7:50 saying that they'll be here at 8:15, and its 8:38 and well, still not done. i always wonder, who gets the 5 o'clock appt? or do they just send everyone out at 7:30?

I got time warner they gave me a two hour window and showed up towards the end of the first hour 5 minutes and it was up an running. the guy loled his face off at my desk top.

I used to be a field tech and this was a common issue. Giving an accurate time is hard. Every home/buisness is different and you never know what problems you may or may not run into. Overcoming the problems takes time and thats hard to factor into the arrival time. American want everything NOW! Perhaps we should calm the fuck down for an hour and know that the job is going to be done.
