My complaints are more directed at Beijing hosting the games and not the games themselves; which hasn't appeared to subdue anyone's interests. I would certainly be more interested if they were held elsewhere and this thread wouldn't be here. I complain about seeing the games on 'everywhere' because no one seems to care about China or anything political... saying the games should not focus on politics. However, Beijing was chosen in part to show how modern and 'open' [politically/socially/whatever] China has become, but it has proved anything but.
