Are the Olympics over yet? - Dallas Dance Music - Dallas nightlife, music, tickets, and more

The only thing I'm kind of ticked at, is that this Olympics should be remembered for having the most bad ass opening ceremony ever. Instead, it will be remembered for having the home country come away with the most gold because the judges were swayed by the crowd reactions, thus most of the gymnasts were fucked if they weren't from China.

I am pretty sure in years to come...no one will remember or care about how many Gold Medals overall China came away with as opposed to remembering Beijing 2008 for:

the unimaginable feats of Michael Phelps winning 8 gold medals and becoming the greatest Olympian of all time
Usain Bolt beating Michael Johnson's World Record (that most never thought would be broken) and making it look easy
The greatest Opening Ceremonies to date
Hopefully what the Redeem Team will accomplish
