Does lots of gatorade and vitamin water count as water?

I cut sodas out a long time ago, but still really dig Gatorade and vitamin water.

It has nothing to do with the caffeine in the drinks, its all of the sugar that causes bladder infections/uti's and kidney stones. So depending on how much sugar Gatorade and Vitamin Water use compared to soda's will really tell you if its good or not.

I for one hate drinking water and have a hard time doing it, but I'd rather drink water than end up back in the hospital dealing with something like that for sure!

Gatorade contains electrolytes, but does NOT replace or stand as a full on replacement for drinking REAL water. If you live off of Gatorade for long enough, you will STILL run the risk of developing the stones. Red Bulls and other energy drinks would get you there faster (as noted for their sugar content).

Simple rule: Drink REAL water at least during two of your settings during the day and balance out the rest.

i drink about 2-4 bottles of water a day, never had a Stone, don't want one either.

ok update...

so yesterday was way way worse. put me in a complete excruciating daze and i was vomiting up all the water and advil from the pain. finally got through it and then had another short attack today where i thought i could feel it go into my bladder. and then...

tonight i passed 5 stones in one sitting. lol. 3 big ones and 2 tiny ones (i'm guessing those don't count?) admittedly, i was major slacking on my water intake and following up with my urologist, but that's it, i can't do this shit anymore. its absolutely debilitating.

anyhow, i'm happy as fuck i got those out and i'm not in pain right now (makes me want to dance...seriously). so fucking rock on. lol.

Never had stones but I've had a kidney infection. HURT LIKE A BITCH!! And I'm still bad about drinking fucking water. ugh. I'm going to try harder starting...now!

For all you people over 30 its about time you start looking into cleansing your bodies. The link above is a well known cleanse for your gall bladder. I thought the Master Cleanse diet was where you limited your food intake and ate a special diet for 2-3 weeks? Or maybe I'm thinking of another one.

I would DIE if I couldn't eat food for 13 days.
