 | Boss sets production goal for the week..Goal Met...Boss chews me out. wtf.
Ok. i'm pretty sure when someone sets a production goal for the week and you meet it its a good thing correct? not today. i work for the data capture department and we are suppost to process so many documents per hour. i met my goal for last week 24-30 docs per hour. i made a solid 24. yet still somehow, this pisses my boss off with her even threatening me with my job, today? and the funny thing is, i have one of the highest quality percentiles in the entire department. the fastest keyer does around 30 docs per hour but makes around 70% quality. mine has never been below 90%. why she do me that way?

i wonder what would have happened if i didn't meet the production goal for the week.  usually when my numbers are low, it means my quality has gone way up. the last time she bitched about my numbers my accuracy was 100%(only ever reached that twice) hopefully this weeks quality will be around the same and maybe ill get left alone.

yes, 15 is the bare minimum, but is 15 pieces of flair really trying? look at Bryan. he has 32 pieces of flair.

pee flows down hill. So basicaly her boss peed on her. When her master plan with the goals didnt work, her boss threatened her. So she turns around and threatens you. Scare tactics. Its terrible that people have to manage like that. Just do your job, they won't fire you. |
