Starbucks' small green straws

I don't know if the location I go to all the time just got a batch or super retarded small straws or if the entire company has them but it needs to be addressed because it is causing serious problems.

They used to be thick and sturdy, but for some reason I guess they wanted to spend less money on straws and now they are frail and cheap. I can't even put them through the lid of my iced beverage without tearing the straw, and then when it finally DOES make it through the opening, it completely closes up. Not only that, it's so unable to move once it's at that point that I cannot scrape the sides of my cup to get the delicious caramel, or use the straw to stir all the coffee together.

So since the situation is so jacked up I have to take the poor straw out and jam my finger into the hole in hopes that by force I can rip the opening so that my delicious coffee experience isn't so fucking gay and annoying. I end up cutting my finger, and spilling coffee all over myself in morning traffic. Happened three times now.

I try to remember to ask the woman at the drive through for the "big" straws and they give me attitude about it. I'm not sure if they realize how much trouble they're causing... I was wondering if anybody else is having this problem... and also, would it be extremely gay of me to write their corporate offices to complain about the straws? I pay $4.00 per beverage and get at least three a week, that's almost $150 a year and that sounds low, so I feel I have a right to complain about this ultimate inconvenience.

How will they know you are unhappy with their product unless you say something? I don't think they will change the straws they order just bc one person is upset about it but maybe you can get some free shit out of it!

Oh and that's not pricey at all bc I can think of more expensive habits involving straws

Not to mention the fact that you continuously put your finger in the opening, cut it and spill coffee on yourself.
There's a lot of options here.
-Buy your own straws.
-Remember to ask them for a bigger straw.
-Quit paying for overpriced crap

starbucks is a horrible monster to feed your money to and if they are that expensive and can't even dole out fancy straws then fuck those assholes. this reminds me of my Wendy's Issue. At Wendy's they used to have 2 kinds of honey mustard. regular honey mustard and 'deli' honey mustard. Whenever i ordered a chicken sandwhich from there, they always gave me the 'regular' kind and i always ended up having to ask for the 'deli' one. and then, whenever i asked for the 'deli' one, they looked at me like condements came directly out of their fucking paychecks and i was this huge asshole taking a shit on their entire day. one day an employee was so rude about it, that i threw my entire bag of food back through the window and told them to shove the honey mustard up their ass.

i didn't eat there for like a year after that but when i did finally resume eating there, i noticed that the 'deli' honey mustard had been taken off the menu completely.

thus causing more issues.

Starbucks is fucking yummy, but I can't justify stopping there unless my wife wants to or unless I am meeting someone up there.
