My little sister used to have two white bunz. They were pretty much neglected till I went there one summer and started letting them roam around the house every day and gave them some attention. They were so adorable, when they'd run around really fast and hop, and in mid hope they'd have leg spasms and would kick wildly in the air. It was worth spending 30 minutes to catch them to put them back in the cage.

But my Dad decided it'd be best if they were set free, so he let them go down the back yard which was full of hawks so I'm sure they only survived a day if that, on their own. At least they probably died together..

Domesticated bunnies have no survival instincts. They have a 0% chance of making it in the wild after being protected from the elements, predators, and provided with food by human hands. Letting them go free was the worst thing he could have done for them.

man....replacing lamp cords isn't that hard honestly...pretty basic electronics. you can by a new cord at home depot or lowes for dirt cheap...shoot even bring your old one up there. you're looking at basically reconnecting a black wire, a white wire, and a ground.

Vixen did that one time. She snuck behind the couch and all of a sudden the light went off and she started screeching. Tim and I rushed to pull the couch out and there she was shaking with the cord chewed all the way through. She never did that again!

Oh *I* knew that. He did it while I wasn't there. lol. He knew I would've protested. They were bright white, in miles and miles of shrubs and trees and shit. Like I said earlier I bet they lasted under a day out there.

I miss my house bunnies, best pets ever. To keep mine from eating through cords I blocked any entrances to the back of the entertainment center and computer desk so they couldnt get back there. I used a sour apple spray on corners and base boards to keep them from chewing them up.

In places where I could not move the cords (table lamps etc.) I wraped all of the cables in a hard spiral cord wrap. They sell it at radio shack or home depot. You can also run the cables through small plastic pipes, or even aquarium hoses.

We also had a problem with one of the bunnies burrowing under the couch and making a little den for herself under it with all the stuffing she pulled out. I just turned the couch over and attached 2X4's under the base so the bunny could not get under it anymore.

It also helps to give them a cardboard box every couple days and just let them tear the shit out of it in the middle of the floor. After a hard day of turning a big box into a small pile of flakes the bunnies dont have much evergy left to chew up anything else.

See we do all of that. All of our cords are protected with that stuff and we give her all sorts of cardboard and phonebooks and stuff to tear up when she's out for play time. She was just being a butthole last night and got past the protection on the wire. This was the only place where she was out of sight so now I threw the lamp out and rearranged the place so that I can watch her more closely.
